Originally from Panama City, Jamie Keel joined Eastern Shipbuilding in 2007 after working in the Oil and Gas Industry. Jamie has served as Project Manager on several of ESG’s successful, multi-vessel new construction projects including inland tugs, OSVs, MPSVs, Offshore Construction Vessels, and Hopper Dredges. Since 2007, Jamie has been responsible for managing the Commissioning, Sea Trials, and Delivery of (35) new construction vessels. Jamie was promoted to Director of Projects in 2017 and then to Vice President of Commercial Shipbuilding, where he is responsible for management of all ESG’s commercial shipbuilding departments including Project Management, Purchasing, Planning, QA, and Accuracy Control. Mr. Keel is a 2005 graduate of the University of West Florida and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies.
