Jessica Bossert joined Eastern Shipbuilding Group in 2021, bringing over 17 years of experience in strategic communications across the public and private sectors. As Vice President of Communications, she oversees the company’s corporate brand, marketing, public relations, and messaging strategy, helping maintain Eastern’s strong reputation in both commercial and government shipbuilding. Jessica was drawn to Eastern’s legacy of quality craftsmanship, resilience, and deep-rooted community impact.

Prior to joining ESG, she served as Deputy Communications Director at the White House, where she led communications strategy across the federal government and supported major national initiatives. Throughout her career, Jessica has advised CEOs and senior leaders and played a key role in the successful election campaigns of two governors, a U.S. senator, and President Trump. Her work reflects a passion for mission-driven organizations and meaningful results. Outside of her professional work, Jessica has dedicated nearly 20 years to supporting a school in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, that provides education and care to children from destitute families.
