Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc. is pleased to announce the delivery of the M/V HARVEY DEEP-SEA, the fourth of its Tiger Shark Class Offshore Support Vessels constructed for Harvey Gulf International Marine, LLC of New Orleans, LA. The HARVEY DEEP-SEA was delivered July 19, 2013. The vessel was launched at Eastern’s Allanton Facility in mid-December of last year. The HARVEY DEEP-SEA is a Multi-Purpose Light Construction Vessel (LCV). Eastern Shipbuilding Group has now constructed 11 vessels for Harvey Gulf since 2002.

On July 3, 2013, Eastern made a donation of $16,500 to the local American Cancer Society from the sponsorship monies donated by Eastern’s vendors from ESG’s 14th Annual Golf Tournament in May. In the spirit of charity, Eastern made a matching donation to the American Cancer Society for $16,500, for a grand total of $33,000! During the ceremony, Eastern featured their employee, Linda Mann, for her own personal fund raising efforts for the American Cancer Society. She raised $8440 last year alone! Linda and her supporters participate in Relay for Life, hold raffles, and organize motorcycle runs for fundraising.
The HOS Red Dawn HOSMAX 300 delivered 10 days early to Hornbeck Offshore Services on Saturday, June 22, 2013. The HOS Red Dawn HOSMAX 300 is a 292’ diesel electric powered, Z-Drive, and DP2 vessel that is the first in a series of 10 offshore supply vessels Eastern is building for Hornbeck Offshore Services.
The HOS RED ROCK is launched on April 19, 2013 at the Allanton Facility.
